Warren Feldman
serves as Chairman of Covista Communications. He has ties back to the founding of Covista Communications when the company was known as TotalTel USA Communications, Inc. He led the company as Chief Executive officer and a principal shareholder from 1984 to 2000. Mr. Feldman is an active investor as well as owner and manager of various industrial, residential, and commercial real estate properties in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and California. He is also active in local and regional philanthropic, non- profit and public service organizations.
Henry Luken serves as chairman of Covista Communications and has extensive business and telecommunications experience. Prior to purchasing a major interest in Covista, Mr. Luken founded Telco Communications and Long Distance Wholesale Club in1993 and was a pioneer in dial-around long distance service. Mr. Luken built this into one of the most successful telecommunication companies of its kind in the United States with over half a billion in revenues. Mr. Luken sold his interest in 1997. Mr. Luken is intimately involved in the strategic growth plans and operations of the company. Mr. Luken also owns interest in several TV and Radio Stations and serves as chairman of the board of ACNTV, a television home-shopping company. W. Thorpe McKenzie is Managing Director of Pointer Management Company, Chattanooga, Tennessee, which he co-founded in 1990 to invest in hedge funds and similar types of partnerships utilizing a fund of funds approach. From 1982 until 1990, he was a private investor in New York City, and a director of several public and private companies. From 1980 until 1982, he was founding general partner of TIGER, a global hedge fund. From 1971 until 1980, he was a Vice President of Kidder, Peabody, & Co., Inc. in New York. McKenzie is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and the Wharton Graduate division of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. |
